    An informal lunch is planned at the Mercure Canberra Hotel on Friday 29th September from 12:30. The booking is in the bistro area and the meals are individual order and very reasonably priced.
    This is planned to be a very informal event and if you wish to attend it is requested that you respond to assist with table bookings.  If you are uncertain then arriving on the day is OK.

    Rydges Campbelltown is located right next door to the Catholic Club. You can join Rydges, online for free, to gain a discount.

    There is a wide variety of accommodation in the area. If you google Accommodation Campbelltown all will come up. Each site will give you distance to the centre of town. The Catholic Club is 700 metres south of the centre.

    Public Transport: The club is 1Km south of the railway station.

    Saturday Night. The Catholic Club is well known for its live entertainment. As soon as it is known what is on we will advise of the entertainment for those that want to make a weekend of it.

    An invitation is extended to all current and pasmembers of RAEMand friendof RAEME,to attend our Annual All Ranks Luncheon. This year we celebratethe 75th Anniversary of the establishment of the Corps and the luncheon provides an opportunity for all "Bluebells" celebrate the achievements of the Corps.  

    Venue:     Port Office Dining Room, Brisbane CBD (Port Office Hotel) Corner Edward and Margaret Streets.

    Timings:  1130 hrs pre luncheon gathering for 1200 hrs.

    Cost:        RAQ Financial Members & up to one guestServing Soldiers & up to one guest, $60 per person(Normally                       $80, includes $10 Corps and $10 RAQ subsidy)
                     All Other Guests, $70 per person (Normally $80, includes $10 Corps subsidy)

    Meal:        Four courses, silver service.

  • 2017 Annual General Meeting

    The AGM will be held at Mt Eliza House Kings Park on Sunday October 29 commencing at 11.00. Lunch will be provided. The following positions are open:

    • Assistant Secretary / Editor Horse’s Mouth
    • Welfare Officer
    • Committee Members

    The plan for before the AGM is to carry out a “The Buddies Memorial Trail” as  part of Veterans Health Week which has the theme of Physical Activity

    • Participants will meet at the venue and will be transported to their chosen walk site with transport suitable for their fitness. Guides will provide a commentary and will act as supervisors for that walk. The walk will conclude back at the House for a spit roast BBQ and guest speakers will address the audience on Veterans issues. The activity will conclude with the conduct of the AGM.

    The following walks are scheduled:

    • Kokada Trail walk tour for fully fit members
    • Lottery Federation Walkway Tour for the adventurist spirits
    • Kings Park Memorial Walk For medical restricted pers

    The chosen walks represent different physical Activity Levels and mates/buddies will enable those less able to be able to participate in an outdoor activity while renewing old mateships and bring the veterans together with newer members of the Association.

  • 75th RAEME Birthday Celebration

    PLEASE NOTE:  This event is for Serving and Ex-Serving Members of the ADF.  Unfortunately due to restricted numbers and the current security concerns, no guests are able to attend.  In addition, all the information provided will be scutinised. Should your registration be rejected (unlikely if you provide valid information!) you will be fully refunded.

    The RAEME 75th birthday celebration will be held on Friday the 1st of December from 1700h through to 2000h. Due to security concerns at the venue, participants will need to apply online via this website, with non-corp subscribers to RAEME Association WA required to pay a $20 door fee. Further information will be sent out about this event closer to the date but it promises to be a huge affair and considerable subsidisation has been given from a number of sources – some of which are even legal.

    Guest of Honour will be ‘Harry’ the Horse – all 4 ton of him. Harry was manufactured by several rotations of RAEME tradesman working as part of the Special Operations Task Group (SOTG) in Afghanistan.
