Kittyhawk Drive Chermside (off Hamilton Rd)

The meeting is generally  held in the Board Room Level 2 via the lift

Parking is available. Members are invited to the 'The Kitchen' at the Club for a meal and catch up following the meeting.

The RAEME Association Darling Downs luncheon is held quarterly and is open to all members, guests, families, partners and others who are associated with the Corps.

The functions areheld on the Ambrose Deck at the City Golf Club. As with most clubs, one advantage of membership of the City Golf Club, is that you get discounts on meals and drinks. You also get free tickets in the monthly draw for a car (held on the last Sunday of each month). Good news is that membership is free, and lasts for 3 years.

The Annual RAQ Gold Coast lunch event, is set to take place at the Mermaid Beach AEME Surf Life Saving Club on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Sponsored by the Association, this gathering is a key part of the social calendar and offers a great opportunity for members and friends to come together, enjoy good food, and share stories by the beach.

All interested parties are encouraged to mark this date on their calendars, confirm their attendance by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  The event promises to be a lively affair, with guests arriving at the venue, grabbing a drink at the bar, and joining fellow attendees on the verandah overlooking the ocean. Although the club does not offer table service, attendees can purchase their own drinks and meals, which will be delivered to their tables by the club staff.

The lunch will begin at 12:00 PM and typically winds down around 4:00-5:00 PM. The club requests that guests vacate the verandah by 4:30-5:00 PM to prepare for the evening service, but those wishing to stay longer can continue to enjoy the club’s facilities.
