Operation Spanner Pack was introduced by the RAEME Association of Queensland in 2007. At that time, it described in the RAEME Association of Queensland Newsletter “Spanner News” by that Association’s Chairman Ray Norman:
“In our opinion, Operation Spanner Pack is the greatest project upon which this Association has embarked
The Association, with your assistance, will send Spanner Packs (not tools) to our CORPS soldiers who are serving on operations and other areas overseas. These packs will contain items not supplied by Defence or locally available which will assist our soldiers to live more comfortably and enjoy some of those favourite things they miss from home.” ........
The RAEME Association of Victoria is proud to contribute to this worthwhile initiative.
