Victorian Reservists Return From Solomon Islands

Since 2006 the Australian Defence Force ( ADF ) has deployed around eight Companies of Army Reservists to assist, on request, the Government of the Solomon Islands. The returning Victorian Contingent was welcomed back on the Shrine of Remembrance Forecourt by the Minister, Senior Officers, retired CMF and Army Reservists, their Families and friends.

Maj Gen Greg Garde AM RFD QC ( Ret. ) gave the address on behalf of all Reservists.
