Updated Links Date Posted: 5 Apr 2010

Recently I just updated the links on our website and as a result I was contacted by our friends at www.raeme.info! They (Bob to be precise) then posted an update on http://www.106fdwksp.com/ website letting their members know that our site has been updated! It just goes to show that the RAEME network is alive and still very active!

It is well worth your while to visit 106 FDWKSP's website. Its a great site and has lots history about its role in the AO. It's also great to see what's going on in other states. There is a good chance you will end up getting in contact an old buddy that you haven't spoken to in years!

I recommend that you visit the 106's website, as well as others that are on our links page as there is a world of information out there and it is being updated regularly.

www.raeme.info

The RAEME Know How site is dedicated to all things RAEME. There are lots of articles and information that will astound new corp members and amuse those who used to work on them!

Bob Thompson is currently looking after the site. As with all websites they are ever evolving, so they are definately worth revisiting from time to time! Bob would love to hear from you if you have something that you believe would be of interest to fellow corp members.

Hello from Japan Date Posted: 28/07/03
A 'recent' email from a far-flung Bluebell:

"G'day mate,

I stumbled upon your page the other day while I was searching the net... bang up job you've done at that, might I add. I checked out your list of ex crafties and noticed it bereft of all and any of my own intake. Good place to make a start....

My name is Shaun M. Dickeson and I was a 32nd. Vehicle Mechanic. 5 Platoon, B Company. I am still and have been living in Japan for the last 12 years so I have been a little estranged from any reunions or social gatherings, but I certainly would welcome the chance to "network" a little.

Thanks for the opportunity again mate.

Regards,

Dicko. [ smdamsaw@lily.ocn.ne.jp ]

My name is Dave Cowan. I'm posted at South Bandiana as an instructor of Petroleum Operators. I'm chasing some photos or info about WO2 Clifford Stevens. He is my fiance's father. He passed away 8 years ago and I'm trying to get some photos of him on the Prince Philip parade in 1986. According to my fiance's mother, he was carrying the banner. I know he wasn't the Ensign or in the banner party, so I was wondering what his connection to the parade was.

If you could shed some light on this it would be great.

Thanks John.
