The Role of RAEME is to:

"Supply Mechanical Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering,
Modifications, and Materiel Technical Support to the Army"

2009 Membership is now due. The annual membership fee has increased this year to $ 20 to cover increased cost of running the association. Fees are due now and can be paid by EFT to BSB 806015 Account Number 01521543. Please include your name with the EFT. Dick Fenton 0488932179

		Thank you for visiting our website. This website was created in 1999 and is believed to have been the first such website in Australia. Our website enabled the world-wide community of military engineers to establish contact, and furthermore the site enabled older comrades, colleagues and workmates to re-establish and maintain links. Initially the site was hosted on a member's domain, where it was updated and maintained for approximately 5 years. Over the past year, the website has been in hibernation and we are now pleased to be back with the generous support of RAEME friends at prerequisiteIT.
		Meetings of the Association are held on the first Thursday of each month (except for January) at 1900hrs, in the Function Room at the Bayswater Hotel, cnr Railway Parade and Beechboro Road Bayswater. The hotel is across the road from the railway station and provides great meals at a good price. The clan normally meet at 1800hrs for a Buffet meal prior - 'See you at the Baysie!'
		Membership or other inquiries may be made to any of the Committee members.
		For the inquisitive among you who are not familiar with RAEME, we have provided a number of (hopefully) informative pages for your interest. Those who have served, and those who continue to serve in RAEME, will undoubtedly advise those contemplating a career in the military, to seriously consider nothing other than a technical one. 		The various RAEME Associations within Western Australia have amalgamated with the RAEME Association of WA. These individual associations; *The RAEME Vietnam Association WA, The RAEME Officers Association WA* and the *Western Region WO's and SNCO's Association* now form part of the 'parent' body. Contact with these Associations can be made through the Secretary of the RAEME Association WA, or through persons nominated on the Links page.
